Plugin F.A.Q.
- What is the minimum configuration for running TVzeka plugin?
Minumal configuration is PIII 1GHz 256Mb Plugin will also work with AMD processors
- Will this plugin work with Adobe Premiere Pro?
No
- I have a dual VGA output NVidia (or ATI) card with video out option. Can I use both VGA output along with video out?
No. Either two VGA+VGA or VGA+video out.
There is a posibility of putting two graphics cards where one would take care of the two VGA outputs and the second would take care of the video output (first card being AGP and second being PCI) but this option has was not fully explored.
- I don't have After Effects but I need "MtxAEPreview.mtx" for your PGB plugin to work. Where can I get this file?
After Effects WYSIWYG plugin is bundled with your Matrox RT/RTX card (in case of some versions of Canopus you have to purchase it separately). You can find it on your installation CD. However you can not extract it from the installation, you need After Effects installed. You can download After Effects demo from Adobe website. Once you install After Effects WYSIWIG you can find "MtxAEPreview.aep" in plugins directory. You can move it out of that directory and keep it safe somewhere else.
- Will there be a plugin for Mac?
No because we can not find a Mac programmer. If you know someone let us know.
- What other applications do you plan to support?
We plan to release WYSIWYG for Photoshop, XSI, 3D Max, Maya
For all other questions plese contact us. Please include what graphics card/video card do you have and all relevant hardware information.
Troubleshooting
One user reported this problem with TVzeka PGB for Discreet Combustion
- I think I have discovered a problem with using the TVzeka PGB for Discreet Combustion and Matrox RTx100 (Build 5078).
Everything on my system worked fine until I used the photoshop WYSIWYG plugin by Matrox.... after using this plugin, combustions output stopped... I uninstalled and reinstalled combustion, Matrox X-tools, and your plugin and this did not fix the problem. I had to revert my computer to a previous disc image to get the output from combustion to work... I repeated this process 2 times to confirm that it was indeed the photoshop plugin causing the error..
